Bradley's first solo exhibition in London was with Gimpel Fils in 1954, soon followed with exhibitions at the Redfern Gallery and Matthieson where his strong calligraphic and symbolic images were much sought after.

In 1956 he signed a contract with Gallery One and continued to show with them after his move to Paris in 1957.
